👋 Who the Hell is Joey?

I started in the banking world, working my way up from frontline roles to eventually managing a branch. I loved the rhythm of finance and being the guy who could bring order to chaos — especially when numbers were involved.

But over time, something shifted. I watched colleagues burn out, teams dissolve, and decisions made far above our heads impact people deeply. I realized I wanted to build things — not just run them. So I left my secure job, went back to school for a master’s in project management, and began again.

Since then, I’ve delivered complex, high-stakes programs across industries — mining, tech, pharma, retail — and I’ve learned one thing for sure:

The best PMs aren’t the most technical — they’re the ones who know how to lead with clarity, influence across silos, and own outcomes even when the road gets messy. That’s the kind of PM I try to be. And that’s who this newsletter is for.
